Come work for us and learn about organic farming. We have many years experience, and are happy to share our knowledge with young and beginning farmers. We raise 35 acres of certified organic vegetables for our CSA customers and for local natural foods coops. Join our lively farm crew and work outside in a healthy setting.
The starting date is flexible (August or early September) and the position runs through mid-November.
Fall Farmhands (FT or PT)
- Tasks include planting, weeding, harvesting, washing and packing produce.
- Full-time (FT) and part-time (PT) schedules available.
- We have openings for August or early September through mid-November.
- Prior farming experience is valuable but not necessary.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 40 lb.
- Competitive wage ($17.00+/hour depending on experience), plus lots of organic veggies to take home.
- Most first-year employees receive a $0.50/hour year-end bonus, for total wage of $17.50.
- We offer a gas subsidy for your travel to the farm, and employees living in Madison often carpool together.
- We do not provide housing.

Available schedules
- FT: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 or 6:00 pm (40 hours/week)
- PT: Four full days during Monday – Friday (32 hours/week)
