We have re-designed our 2014 winter share …

… to avoid wintery weather in December.

We have changed our 2014 winter share from two deliveries (Nov & Dec) to one large delivery in November.  We expect to deliver the week before Thanksgiving.  This single delivery will be larger than previous November winter deliveries, but less than the combined Nov. and Dec. deliveries.  More details below.  The cost will be reduced from $159 to $102 (from $153 to $99 if enrolled before Jan. 13).

– What if I already signed up and paid for my winter share?  You need to decide if you want to keep the single-delivery November share, or cancel your winter share completely.  We will send you a refund for the difference.  Early registrants keep their early-season discount.

– What will be in the November delivery?  The single November delivery will contain a mix of veggies for storage and for immediate consumption. We’ll include storage information.  Each season is different, so the final list depends on which crops thrive in 2014.  Here’s what we expect to deliver:  Two types of winter squash, two types of potatoes, carrots, onions, sweet potatoes, garlic, beets, Brussels sprouts, leeks, Beauty Heart radishes, cabbage, parsnips and celeriac, plus several veggies for fresh consumption such as cauliflower, broccoli, kale or bok choy.

– How can I replace the December delivery?  Our produce is available through the winter at the Willy Street, Outpost and Basics coops, and at Whole Foods in Madison. We hope you will seek our produce at one of these stores for your December cooking. We usually deliver to these stores through March.
